Thanksgiving Recap...

Little late posting...
The boys had good Thanksgiving. Max went on his 1st hunting trip with his Daddy & Ayden. They saw 3 deer. Since ALL Max wants to do is hunt! Thanksgiving night Mom & I took Levi on his 1st Black Friday adventure. I got almost all my shopping done that night! Friday couldn't been any sweeter! My Auburn Tigers won!!! :) As you know our house is divided! Its always a fun time in the Perkins House!

Can't believe Christmas is in 13 days! Wow! I have lots of wrapping & baking to do! My sister & her hubby will be here next Friday! We can not wait!

Happy 1/2 year Birthday, Levi

Can't believe that Levi was 6 months old on the 24th~ We had his 6 month check-up yesterday. He weighed 16lbs 10zs & was 26 in long. (25% percentile for both) Levi & Max are totally different when max was 6 months old he was in the 90th percentile. The doctor said their bone structure is different, Max is built like the Perkins family & Levi is built like my side. He is cutting all 4 top teeth right now & it is rough on him :( Besides that he is a healthy, beautiful little boy! I thank God everyday for my babies!

Last weekend the whole family went to Auburn to visit my sister, Madelyn & her husband Scott. (It was also Levi's 1/2 year birthday.) We left early Friday morning so we could have all day Friday to play. We ate lunch at Cheeburger Cheeburger & then took the boys to the playground in Madelyn's neighborhood. Max had a blast. That night we ordered pizza & headed downtown for ice cream. Saturday we cooked breakfast before heading to campus. Mom & I went to the game while the rest of the crew grilled out & tailgated at Madelyn's house. What a game!! WAR EAGLE!

Catching up...

Levi turned 5 months on the 24th & he has gotten 2 teeth. Last week we had a rough week~ Levi had croup, cut 2 teeth & Max cut his top 2 molars! Mommy was exhausted. Max & Ayden have started back to school. Max is going T,W & Th from 9-1pm & Ayden is in 2nd grade. This is our weekend with Ayden & the boys were so excited to see each other. They have been up playing since 630 a.m. The boys love each other so much, Max misses Ayden so bad when he is gone. Well, we are about to go play with water balloons & get in the pool. Updates

Levi is growing like a weed! He will be 4 months the 24th of this month. I can't believe it. He is rolling over (from this back to his tummy). We are going for a weight check tomorrow. He is filling out- he's definatley not a chunky monkey like Max was. He smiles & choos all the time. Max is still so protective if him . He doesn't wont't anyone he doesn't know to hold or touch him. He still calls Levi "his baby". When Levi cries he brings me his paci or a bottle. It's hard to believe summer is almost over. Ayden will be in 2nd grade. He starts back to school August 11 & Max's preschool( mommy's morning out) starts back August 19. Before we know it, it will be Christmas!! We are leaving for the beach tomorrow night- my WHOLE family (except Ayden), he is going with his mommy to Daytona beach. I'll post pics later.

Changes...

I've been very upset I had to stop nursing. I nursed Max for 6 months & he did great! We noticed that Levi wasn't gaining weight like they wanted him to. The doctor first had my supplement nursing & formula. He still wasn't gaining much weight. He would nurse & then 10 minutes later be starving! I stopped nursing & he gained 14 ozs in ONE WEEK!!! YAY!!! My poor baby was starving! I've felt like that it was my fault. The doctor reassured me it wasn't. I guess that's the post pardum hormones. It's definatley been a journey. Thank goodness for cabbage leafs & ibupofin!! I know sounds crazy, but the cabbage has dried my milk up in less than a week! Max has been a great helper. He brings me Levi's bottle & helps feed him. I'm loving having my boys so close together!

Having my sweet angels 21 months apart has took a toll on my body! I've started Weight Watchers yesterday, so hopefully I can get some more of this baby weight off me. I bought the Wii fit & Biggest Loser lastnight & I'm going to start that tonight. Plus I'm going to start walking, then my goal is start running. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm not trying to be to become a bean pole, just feel good about myself & not so self conscious! My wonderful, sweet husband says I look beautiful- hes just being nice! I love him so much, he is a wonderful supporter. He's going to start walking with me!

We had Max's birthday party at our land in Tennessee. The kids had a great time playing in the creek. Max loves "hot hot"-that's what he calls Mickey Mouse, because of the hot dog song that they sing. He cake was adorable! Can't believe he is already 2!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Max!

Two years ago today God blessed us with a beautiful healthy little boy. I never thought it was possible to love something so much. Max is such a blessing. He is always smiling.
When he woke up this morning, I sang Happy Birthday to him & he started singing to himself. He wanted pizza for lunch so we went to Godfathers. He picked out Elmo cupcakes for his class tonight at church & a football cake for our family tonight. Tomorrow is my dad's birthday, so the cake is for the two of them! I love my "little big" boy so much. I'm looking forward to watching him grow & learn new things.

Ayden turned 7 April 23. We had everyone over to our house for his party, He wanted a Alabama football cake & ice cream sundaes! Everyone had a great time. The kids & big kids(Wes's friends) all played baseball & football. Max was so cute running after them. He thinks he is big like them, he can hang with the best of them.
Max was 23 months old yesterday. I can't believe in 1 month I will have a two year old! It has flown by. He is such a great help with Levi. He loves him so much. He always wants to kiss him & he calls him his baby! Levi will be six weeks old Wednesday. Its bitter sweet. I love watching them grow & learn new things, but at the same time its sad because my babies are growing up.

He's here! Levi Thomas Perkins was born Wednesday, March 24, 2010 @ 5:59 p.m.

He weighed 7 lbs 13 ozs & was 21 1/2 inches long

25 days & praying....

We are 25 days away from our scheduled delivery. I went yesterday to my doctors appointment & I have already dilated 1 cm & thinned out 60%. That explains the reason I have been hurting. I'm praying that our lil bit stays put until his scheduled day. It makes me nervous about his lings, that they might be fully developed. Please pray that everything turns out for the best!

Almost time for "lil bits" arrival

I can't believe in less than 6 weeks we will be having another little boy. It has flown by! My doctor has scheduled my c-section for March 30. Yesterday I was measuring a week ahead of schedule. We are extremely excited about our new addition. People keeps asking us his name, and...its a secret :) We are praying a healthy baby boy & safe delivery!
