It's a BOY!!!!

It has been several months since my last post. I found out in August that we were expecting another baby! I'm due April 10-since I have to have a c section we are looking at April 5th! We are very excited. I was afraid it would take forever to get pregnant again but thank goodness it didn't :) We found out this past Monday that we are having another boy! I will be completely out numbered in our house. Max will be 22 months old when his little brother is born & Ayden will be 7 years old a few weeks after his little brother his born. Please pray that everything continues to go good!!!

Summer loving...

Where has the summer gone???

I can't believe that its already the middle of JULY!!! Where has the summer gone? Before you know it will be Christmas! The older I get the faster time flies by. Since my last post Wes has been laid off & has been looking all over the country for work! Everywhere he has called is in the same position we are. NO WORK!! :( They say it is suppose to pick back up in the spring! All we can do is trust in GOD & pray!
Our church is having VBS this week & the boy are having a great time. After church Sunday night we asked Max what he learned about in class; he said God & pointed to heaven. Its amazing how fast they learn.
My grandmother had her surgery last Thursday so please remember her in your prayers. She had skin cancer on her face the size of a softball. THANK the Lord the doctor got it all! Its really been hard for our family because this is how my uncles started and it ended up spreading and taking his life.
On a brighter note- the kids are great! Ayden will be starting a new school this year... Kitty Stone Elementary in Jacksonville, Al. His step daddy, Jacob just finished the state trooper academy & is stationed there. He is excited about a new school. I can't believe he will be in 1st grade! We will still have him every other weekend. :) Max has gotten used to Ayden being here a lot this summer. When Ayden isn't here Max runs around the house yelling AYDEN & then goes to his room looking for him! Its so sweet! Max loves his big brother!

The big ONE!

I'm late posting this... we had max's 1st birthday party Saturday the 6th. We had the party at my parent's land in Tennesse. It was a "sailboat" party. Everyone had a great time! We had a moonwalk & little pool for the kiddos. Max LOVED his cake :) He already had a parctice a few weeks before because my brother & sister wouldn't be in town. Must be nice to spend the summer in Costa Rica.. LEVI!!! :) My sister was in the Bahamas! I will post pictures later!

Max's 1st haircut & 12 month check-up

After his hair appointment he had to go for his 12 month check up. He weighed..

26 lbs-90 % percentile

31 1/2 inches long- 97%

his head measured 18 1/3 inches- 60%

Max had to get those awful shots, so we took him and bought him a rake & shovel. He loves to help us in the yard!

MAX is ONE!!!

Wow! Time flies by! Its so hard to believe that a year ago today Max was born! He was born at 4:56 pm and weighed 8 lbs 8oz 22 inches long! We go for his one year check-up Thursday; wonder how much he has grown in a years time? Children are a blessing from GOD!

Relay for Life & Mother's Day

My family & I decided to have a team for Relay for Life this year in memory of my uncle Johnny who passed away in Nov 07 at the age 53. It was a wonderful experience! His favorite hobby was to restore & collect pedal tractors. So therefore, the name of team was.. Halls' Hope pedalin' for a cure!

I had a great "offical" first Mother's Day! Being a mommy is a blessing from GOD! I'm so thankful to have beautiful & healthy children! Wes, Ayden & Max surprised me with a heart shaped locket necklace with the boys pictures in it! They got me some good smelling stuff from victoria secret.

I almost forgot.. Max started walking last Wednesday when we were in Auburn at my sister's house!!! He is trying to play games with us and only walk when we are not looking at him :) Ayden lost another tooth and has been doing awesome in baseball! Wes has been helping coach this week and is LOVING it! What daddy wouldn't!!

April

Wow.. its been a while since I have posted anything! It has been a busy month for our family. Ayden's first baseball game was April 4. He hit 2 homeruns! Max was suppose to start swim lessons the 11th, but he was the only kid to sign up so they were canceled! :( We took the boys to the YMCA swimming anyways and they had a blast! Max was also in a fashion show at Martins! He was the star of the show.. at least we think so :) Then Easter the 12th! The boys had a great time hunting Easter eggs. Wes & I celebrated our 2 year anniversary the 21st and Ayden turned 6 on the 23rd!! We had his party Saturday at my parent's farm. He had a "pirate" birthday party. The party was GREAT!! The kids had a treasure hunt and loved it! I will post pictures later on this week!

Spring is here

Yay! It's the first day of Spring. I love this time of year! Buttercups are blooming & they are one of my favorite flowers.. hint hint.. Wes you need to go pick me some!! :) Things are new for our family. Ayden has started baseball practice ( his first game is April 4) & Max is about to start swim lessons. Wes & I have decided to have our own garden this year! So we are in the process of deciding what to plant & getting ready to plow our first graden! Wish us luck.. it should be very interesting :)
